Our first LA show

We decided to have our very first (very last minute) LA show at Spaceland in Silver Lake.
Yes, It is Election night.
Don’t spend it alone.
If you are not the patient type, it will be playing on the big screen TV so feel free to be rude and sneak a peak at the polls.
Just don’t boo us if things are not going your way.
The show is free to those who voted and since YOU are one of those socially conscious people, you get in free.
And if you are one of those foreigners that happens to be here, well, you get in free too.
We go on at 10PM sharp.
See you all then.

-Billy

Seether Tour

Hello all. So we only have one more show to go w/Seether on monday,Oct. 6th in Charlotte, NC. And we have to say that it has been our pleasure to play with them. Everyone in their band and crew has been really cool to us and very supportive. The highlight so far was the Richmond, VA postshow. Very fun hanging out with those guys and let’s just say they can be a bad influence on those around them…but in a good way;)

Right now we are currently getting ready for soundcheck at a headlining show in Orono, ME. It is extremely loud and and the vibrations are so intense that perhaps our DNA structures have been altered permanently. All of this while trying to scheme more upcoming shows.

We’ll keep you all posted

see you soon!

Back on the road

So our break is now over and we have several shows coming up with Seether(starting Sept. 24th in Detroit) over the next few weeks. After that we’ll be out with Puddle of Mudd and Red for a little over a month playing quite a bit.

This summer was a great jumping off point for a young band such as ourselves and we have made many new friends and fans all over the country(and the world) and we look forward to having the opportunity to make our ever expanding family grow even larger.

Our street team is growing larger and larger every day and we thank all of you out there for helping us and spreading the word.

Be sure to visit our myspace page and our main page( ashesdivde.com ) for a full list of current tour dates.

see you in a bit

This past Saturday a blog post was made on the official myspace and I neglected to post it because I am a slacker but here it is now for the 4 of you that DON’T have a myspace…

Post-Projekt Revolution

So tomorrow in Houston is the last Projekt Revolution show of this tour. We just want to say it’s been a great summer for us out with the whole tour. We’ve made alot of new friends in other bands and crew alike. Everyone treated us very well and we especially want to thank Linkin Park for inviting us out(especially as such a fledgling band).

After tomorrow, we have a brief “tour” with 10 Years(only 4 shows) mostly in Texas. We did a show with them last night in Little Rock, AR. and it was chaotic! The crowd was more than enthusiastic and 10 Years put on a great show.

These shows will be followed by a short break for us and then we’re out with Seether for a bit in September/October. Hopefully we get to see alot of you as well as make some new fans and continue the momentum of the band.

We are currently working out the rest of our fall schedule and we will post the dates as soon as they are confirmed.

Thank you for your continued support! It means alot to us

take care

Billy, Jeff, Matt, Andy, and Adam

Thanks 2 ASHES dIVIDE…

well my summer of excellent music continues. Thanks to Catherine for pointing out the correct date of Projekt Revolution where I was invited to sit in with Ashes dIVIDE last night after getting lost and driving around football-field sized lawns and city blocks 10 miles long, no gas stations to ask directions, just endless freeways and ramps and massive concrete office buildings. ..damn depressing. Thanks to Ashes nice tour manager for reeling me in. For those of you not in California this is the part of the state that the television show ‘The OC’ refers to. But I digress. After locating the right bus amongst the neighborhood of parked tour buses behind the gig I found Billy and was soon enough comfortable and happy in my element, a small dark cool room in a bus with a guitar in it. Wasn’t quite sure of my part so we went over it in the bus (’Too Late’, one I’d worked on with Billy for the record…a beautiful song, I just fell in love with the track the minute Billy played it for me) and it really sounded great. The band is great, really great guys and amazing players. I would have stayed on to Denver today but didn’t know what the hell to do with my poor little faithful truck overnight so I’ll miss you guys, have a good one, look forward to doing it all over again sometime soon. It’s hard to believe it was a year ago next month we were working on the record. According to my calendar, the 52 days before one’s birthday is the Neptune period, the most creative of the year. Art, music, everything watery and dreamy and beautiful..so looking forward to the fall, my favorite time of year. Boo.

Other things: rebuilding www.johnettenapolitano.com; uploading ‘Beds are Burning’ as a digital single; ‘Sketchbook 3 and ‘Sketchbook/Hardcover’ has been postponed to Christmas…too much stuff.

Thanks again you guys I had a blast last night.
