So we just played a show with Atreyu and Linkin Park tonight in Albuquerque. It was nice to catch Atreyu’s set since we usually don’t get a chance to(they go on right before us on Projekt Rev). LP was great as usual.
The show was fun but the true highlight of the evening was when some rabble rouser tried to bust through security and nearly ran over one of the guards with his monstrosity of a pickup truck. He then proceeded to make a run for it through the desert whilst wearing sandals(I can’t imagine how this must have felt). The guy wouldn’t give himself up so the authorities had to send in the K9 and seek him out. All in all a good day for us. Not a good day for him.
be safe out there and we’ll see you at the next show

Hey everyone,
Just need to clarify…We are NOT playing a show with 10 Years and Nothing More at Scout bar in San Antonio on August 5th. This show was considered but never officially booked because unfortunately it is logistically impossible to play in San Antonio TX when we have a show in Albuquerque NM the next day.
And just for future reference…There may info floating around out there on the net but if we have not posted it you should be cautious of its authenticity. It is best to get information about our shows from our official websites…www.myspace.com/ashesdivide, www.ashesdivide.com, etc.
As of now we have officially booked the following shows in Texas…
8.23.08 Dallas TX…Superpages.com Center - PROJEKT REV
8.24.08 Houston TX…Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion - PROJEKT REV
8.26.08 Corpus Christi TX…The Pavillion at Concrete Street w/ 10 YEARS
8.27.08 Abilene TX…Midnight Rodeo 3 w/ 10 YEARS
8.29.08 Odessa TX…Dos Amigos w/ 10 YEARS
8.31.08 El Paso TX…WesternPlaylandAmusementPark-KLAQRadioShow
Hope to see you there! Thank you so much for your continued support!

We just got back from Dinner in the city. Indian restaurant called Rasika…so good. We are staying about 15 miles outside of the city. So my frustration will soon come into focus. I get back to the hotel room, stuffed beyond belief and head on over to pollstar.com to see who might have played here today. FUCK ME, MGMT is literally on stage right now at The 9:30 club. No way I could get there and get in time as it is 11:30. I love their music. It is rare that you get to see bands you really like on a day off. I just wrote to them on myspace to communicate as much. First thought that entered my mind was, “do these guys even read this page?” A question many of you ask us often. Made me smile in the humblest sort of way.

New Blog post up on the official myspace page. I think the boys are getting lonely on the road - if you live in WV and are attending the show go give them all hugs.
see you there!

Hey everyone it’s been a while since I’ve blogged. I’m about 20 minutes from bus call to head over to the venue for tonights Projekt Rev show outside of Pittsburgh. We kicked off the first show of the PR tour a couple days ago outside of Boston and it was an absolute blast! We took some time to hit up the batting cages over by the revolution stage…and yes I resisted the urge to pick up the Yankee batting helmet for respect of the locals…Boston fans + Beer + dude from jersey flaunting the Yankee symbol = a potentially bad situation…heheh…but we all had fun…and Billy impressed us all with with his bat skills.
Our set felt really good on the big stage and although we started around 5:30 the stage lighting def helped us get into the mood and pick up the intensity. Afterwards, I was able to step out and watch Chris Cornell kick some serious ass with his amazing vocals. And I had a great time playing keys with LP and Busta or their new single. The energy they create on stage together is something that should not be missed!
So, I hope you all enjoyed the show in Mansfield as much as we did and we look forward to tonight. See you then…

With The Project Revolution tour approaching in just under a week, we only have two headlining shows left for the summer, Montreal, QC (July 13) and Huntington, WV (July 29). We have just completed a two-week tour that took us up the west coast and across Canada. At some of these shows the promotion has been less than ideal. We have come out to the crowd after every show and talked with many people. A disturbing number of you have stated things like “Why are you keeping these shows a secret?” or “I have been an APC fan and now ASHES, and had no idea you had a show until like 3 hours ago when I passed the venue on my way home from work”. The point being, the traditional avenues of officially spreading the word have been almost non-existent for us. So grass roots here we come. Call it a street team or whatever you want but we need a boots-on-the-ground style campaign dropping flyers and such at places where people might go that could be interested in ASHES dIVIDE. Drive around with a bullhorn mounted on your VW van local politician style if you need to, just spread the word. I just went to pollstar.com and saw that Stone Temple Pilots are playing at Bell Centre and The Bravery is playing Le National in Montreal on July 11th. We play 2 nights later at Le National. If you are willing to help and need help with printout ideas, we would be more than happy to send you a PDF.
Thank you very much and we will see (and sweat with) you in a few days.
