]]>We decided to have our very first (very last minute) LA show at Spaceland in Silver Lake.
Yes, It is Election night.
Don’t spend it alone.
If you are not the patient type, it will be playing on the big screen TV so feel free to be rude and sneak a peak at the polls.
Just don’t boo us if things are not going your way.
The show is free to those who voted and since YOU are one of those socially conscious people, you get in free.
And if you are one of those foreigners that happens to be here, well, you get in free too.
We go on at 10PM sharp.
See you all then.
-Billy
Edit: As stated on the Official Site ASHES dIVIDE are scheduled to go on at 10pm and Dead Ponies at 11pm. Also - the show is free!
Unfortunately, due to the fact that ASHES dIVIDE was opening and not headlining it is my understanding that Ticketmaster will not issue refunds. Therefore, I wanted to compile a small resource of places for people who are looking to unload their tickets.
Craigslist.org - I’m sure most of you are aware of Craigslist. I personally have found it to be the most useful tool when it comes to show tickets. Tons of people check craigslist on the day of a show looking for last minute ticket deals. Just make sure you are posting in the correct area!
StubHub - StubHub is a service which acts as an online marketplace for buyers and sellers of tickets for various events. They will take 15% of your sale price but they offer several options when it comes to shipping your tickets which can take some of the burden off of you. Check their site for more details.
Ticketmaster TicketExchange - While Ticketmaster itself will not give you a refund they do offer a service for reselling tickets you have purchased and no longer need. It works very similiar to StubHub but I am not certain of the fee they charge. Also keep in mind that not all events are available for re-sale through their service. Check their site for more details
Ebay - Certainly we’ve all heard of Ebay. Ebay can be useful but also charges a fee and isn’t always the best for last minutes sales. I personally prefer using Ebay due to it’s buyer and seller protection but sometimes if your event is rapidly approaching it’s best to try other avenues.
Puddle of Mud Official Forum - Posting in fan forums about extra tickets you have can often times be useful. Unfortunately, this board doesn’t look to have much activity but it’s worth a shot. If any of you are aware of any other (perhaps more active) PoM message boards please let me know and I will be sure to post them. Edit: I have been informed that this particular message board is a bit difficult to post on (hence the lack of activity) but that people DO in fact read it so it may be worth the effort to put up info about any extra tickets you may have!
If you have any other ideas, questions, concerns, etc please feel free to contact me at contact@ashesdivideonline.com. I don’t claim to be an expert in the area but I have done quite a bit of selling and re-selling tickets over the years and I’d be happy to share any knowledge I may have.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we are not able to do the upcoming tour dates with POM (october 24th thru november 26th)
We are especially sorry to announce this to those of you who bought or were planning to buy tickets for any of these shows.
We intend on touring in your area in the future.
Please check back for more tour dates in the future.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
